SAP Manager

An Insurance customer of Insight Global is seeking an SAP Manager for their Financial SAP Systems team within the Application Development group.
This position will lead a team of developers and analysts (10 people) in support of the SAP Financial system.
System responsibilities include SAP FI, Controlling, Accounts Payable, FS-CD, BPC, BW, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Liquidity Planner.
This person will be responsible for creating direction with leadership on broad goals and long-term objectives, providing day-to-day guidance and support of team members, managing relationships with multiple stakeholders (internal team members, customers, external partners), vendor management involvement, escalation of production issues, and team member career development and performance management.
This person must be a people leader with excellent communication, understanding of financial concepts/lingo, and have the ability to drive teams and improve overall processes.
This team sits in League City, TX and this leader is required to be on-site 5 days a week.
Experience with financial systems, preferably SAP FIInsurance Industry experience7 years of system development and/or management of technical resources experienceMust be dynamic, able to multi-task, and be detail orientedAbility to convey technical information in a business-friendly formatMust possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate technical resources to meet business objectivesBasic understanding of finance terminology (general ledger, FI, banking, controlling) Recommended Skills Accounts Payable Asset Management Attention To Detail Banking Services Business Planning Cash Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
