The purpose of the role is to expand the Digital footprint of the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce by increasing brand awareness and exposure! The Director of Marketing needs to have a background in marketing and experience in strategy development and solid organizational skills.
The Director of Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's public relations activities, marketing plan and the development of internal and external communications campaigns.
The Director of Marketing will also be directly involved in the development, implementation, and presentation of communications strategies to upper-level management, as well as to external associations, government agencies and advocacy groups.
This position will oversee media, website, branding, and marketing for the Chamber.
Individual must be self-motivated, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality customer support; possess excellent time management skills; credible, and comfortable dealing with a broad spectrum of business industries and people.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, general business or related field of study; or equivalent experience; previous chamber or media experience preferred; demonstrated success identifying and closing new customer accounts; demonstrated ability to meet and exceed assigned revenue objectives; excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written; excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills; strong demonstrated customer relationship and selling skills; strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office, financial reporting tools and sales management database systems.

Responsibilities Handling online as well as offline ad campaigns Reporting the campaign results of the advertising campaign Reviewing the advertising budget with the President/CEO Send Chamber email blast through constant contact Efficient using constant contact Create flyers using ADOBE InDesign, etc.

Negotiating with media channels for competitive deals and in kind marketing opportunities Building the PR with the media houses for the promotion of our brand Create drip campaigns to capture and engage members and prospective members Staying up to date with the latest media trends in the industry Requirements Bachelor's in marketing or Business Administration or a relevant field.
Proven 5 years of work experience in the Marketing field as a Media Director, Marketing Planner or a similar role.
Strong working experience of analytics tools like GfK MRI, Moat and Nielsen IMS Ability to maintain relations with well-known media persons.
Exceptional understanding of media planning and media buying.
Exceptional knowledge about attractive advertising and promotional campaigns.
Excellent knowledge of Digital Marketing concepts.
Amazing budget allocation skills Ability to make beneficial decisions for the business.
