9 Full-time 8 hours ago Full Job Description Assist the Lead Custodian in overseeing routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of job safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations.
Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
Qualifications Education/Certification None specified Special Knowledge/Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of basic techniques of minor building repairs Ability to operate cleaning equipment, lift heavy equipment, and properly handle toxic cleaning supplies Ability to interface with staff, students, and community Ability to work flexible schedule Experience Requirement determined by supervisor Major Responsibilities and Duties Plan, oversee, and participate in all custodial work; maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Maintain an inventory and order custodial supplies from the warehouse.
Strive constantly to promote the safety, health, and comfort of the staff and public.
Perform emergency minor repairs and cleaning service as necessary.
Keep building and premises, including sidewalks, neat and clean at all times.
Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are open and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building operation.
Responsible for daily cleaning of offices, lunchrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, including dusting furniture.
Work overtime when requested due to meetings and staff training.
Ensure that all restroom floors are scrubbed and disinfected and that all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains are cleaned and disinfected daily.
